You can easily switch to another PHP version from our hosting panel.
A PHP version normally has a lifecycle of 3 years. When it is declared “end of life” it should no longer be used and will gradually be phased out from our servers.
- Log in to the control panel with the correct username and password
- Select the website you want to change from the main screen, or from “Websites” in the side column
- Go to Advanced > Developer Tools from the main menu at the top
- Select the desired PHP version from the options under “PHP engine” and any desired “PHP extension” (if needed).
- To activate the change immediately, press the “Restart” button below (Restart PHP container)

Please note that some plugins and themes in WordPress are not necessarily compatible with all PHP versions. Therefore, check that your site works as expected and troubleshoot if not.
