Creating and adding a WordPress site on a subdomain is straightforward.
Follow the guide on how to add a new website.
In the field where you enter the “Domain” of the new website, enter the desired subdomain.
If you use our nameservers, all the necessary DNS records for the subdomain will be added automatically.
Create DNS records (advanced)
If you have special needs or for some reason do not use our name servers for your domain name, you must create DNS records for a subdomain manually.
Once you have added a new website (as described above), you will be able to see from the hosting panel which IP address the website, email and any other services are listening on.
You decide yourself how many DNS records you want to create, but for the website, emails and automatic SSL certificate to work as expected, these are mandatory:
- Website: A + AAAA
- Email: A + DKIM + SPF
